"I've been taking songwriting lessons with Kit for several months now. I highly recommend her for anyone who is new to music theory or has dabbled and has some experience. She created a lesson plan tailored to my goals, skill level, and musical background. She's always patient with me and has a great sense of humor, and makes me feel comfortable to ask questions and think about music theory in different ways. I feel that I've grown leaps and bounds in my skill and level of understanding when it comes to music theory, songwriting, and piano."

“Jillian doesn’t talk down to her students, there’s no condescension, just clear passion and commitment to making every student - at every level - discover visible progress toward their individual journey as artists, thinkers, and humans... I was astounded not only by Jillian’s willingness to share her truth, she’s always had more heart than anyone in the room, but even more impressive was her specificity, technical aptitude and ability to teach the students where they were at in their journey in that moment; an invaluable gift, so often missing in the studios and classrooms that claim to teach acting, musical theatre and theatre… Her spirit, generosity and knowledge are invaluable.”
